Description
The Orange-Spot Bristlenose is a freshwater aquarium fish that is medium-sized, reaching a maximum adult size of 5-6 cm (2-2.4 inches). It has an oval body with a pointed snout and a slightly forked tail. It is a brownish-gray color with a pattern of bright orange spots on its sides, dorsal and ventral fins. The fish has an impressive array of bristles on the snout, giving it a bushy appearance. It is peaceful and a bottom-dweller, preferring to hide amongst rocks and driftwood in the aquarium.
