Black/Brown Black Foot Mystery Snail
The Black-Brown-Black-Footed Mystery Snail is an aquatic snail found in freshwater habitats in Europe and North America. It is a small snail, typically measuring between 1-2 cm in diameter and its shell is a dark brown or blackish color with a white band near the opening. Its foot is a creamy white color and it has two tentacles on its head and two eyes on the sides of its head. This snail feeds on algae, bacteria and detritus, and it is often used in aquariums as a natural cleaner. It is a hardy species and can survive in a variety of water conditions.

Blue Mystery Snail
In late 2019 we were the first in Australia to offer Purple Mystery Snails. Now in July 2021 we are doing it again by offering some Blue Mystery Snails. These snails have NEVER been offered for sale in Australia and we are proud to be the first retailer to offer it. The Blue Mystery Snails has been bred from a combination of Gold and Purple Mystery Snails and they are in fact a mutation of the Purple/ Gold Mystery Snail combination. These snails has been specifically lined bred and we are super proud to put them to the greater hobby here in Australia. When you keep these snails it is best to keep them with a pH greater than 7 and to get them in a very established tank with a lot of bio film. They are best with temperatures around 22 to 26C.

Purple Mystery Snails are a new variant of the Golden and the Brown/ Tortoise Mystery Snails. They are very new still in Australia and will be regarded as a very high demand species. If you are keen to have something new and rare in your tanks then consider this species. Nano Tanks Australia Aquarium Shop is proud to present this species to the Australian market. Stocks are extremely limited so please hurry PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SNAILS ARE BEST KEPT IN pH 6.5 to 7.8 and temperatures between 22 to 26C. Shells conditions Sometimes you may get a snail that has pits on the shells. Purple mystery snails of all the mystery snail strains suffer extensively due to this and its usually a genetically induced affect.
