Spread the soil in a thin layer, then put Neo Plants Tab or other fertilizer if necessary and pour up the rest of it – low at the front high at the back. Cover the plastic package of the soil on the soil and pour the water little by little slowly. (Never wash the soil)

Nisso Custom Soil is one of the original nutrient soil for aquariums made in Japan.
Nisso Custom Soil lowers pH and has a water softening effect which is ideal for plants and shrimp. Due to the inclusion of Bentonite clay in the soil the pellets also have great functions as sponges both for absorbing excess nutrients as well as allowing beneficial bacteria to grow.
Because of this you will also find that Nisso Custom Soil does not cloud the water as readily as other nutrient soil and should be good to use immediately out of the bag.

UP Aqua Aqua Sand is designed for tanks with plants, shrimp and fish. * Rich in elements for plants * Ideal granule size for healthy plant roots and development. * pH 6.5 - 7.0 * Granule size: 2-4mm Usage Instructions *****Do not wash product before use***** Distribute the AquaSand evenly on the aquarium bottom. For ideal conditions, lower the level of the soil in the front portion of the tank, with a high soil level in the rear of the tank. Planting is easier when the water level is low enough to only just cover the AquaSand substrate. Fill the aquarium with water after planting. Pour the water gently on a plate or mug to slowly avoid clouding the aquarium water. The water may become cloudy after setup. This cloudiness disappears in a few hours with a properly functioning filtration system.
