The Clown Pleco’s colors are as off-the-wall as it gets with no two clowns alike. This inky-black, speckled, spotted and variegated beauties grow to be around 12 inches in length while displaying the trademark ‘chopstick face’ at maturity. These resilient, happy swimmers have plenty of personalities, so much they will readily accept frozen foods out of your hand (yum!). The Clown Pleco can prosper on any number of diets – try them: algae/spirulina wafers for vegetarians; bloodworm bits or shrimp for carnivores and some fresh veggies like cucumber which helps digestion. They also appreciate access to driftwood pieces that help them digest
