The Red Lace Guppy is an elegant species that came from the Snakeskin Gene.
These was initially bred in Sri Lanka however this was brought into Australia a number of years ago.

Distribution

Type locality is ‘Guayre River, Caracas, Venezuela’.
Wild examples are relatively rare in the aquarium hobby, most fish being commercially bred.
Habitat
An incredibly adaptable species that occurs in almost every imaginable biotope, from high-altitude streams to turbid swamps and ditches.
Some populations also exist in brackish conditions.
However it does tend to thrive best in habitats with lush growths of algae, marginal vegetation and/or aquatic plants.

Origin and Distribution
The guppy has been captive bred for over 100 years, but originally came from South America. They are named for Robert John Lechmere Guppy who collected these fish on the island of Trinidad in 1866. They are native to freshwater streams in the north of South America, including Surinam, Guyana, and Venezuela, and the Caribbean islands, including Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago. Now, they have been introduced to every continent but Antarctica, and can be found in many warm waterways around the world.
Tankmates
Guppies are peaceful, easygoing community fish that play well with a mix of other non-aggressive fish species. You may want to keep them with similar, live-bearing fish, such as platys or mollies. Other good tankmates include small fish, such as neon tetras or zebrafish. Keep in mind that any fry spawned from an active guppy female may be dinner for other fish in the tank, so having smaller tankmates will ensure more fry survive.
Many guppy keepers often opt for a guppy-only aquarium. You are welcome to mix different varieties of guppy in the same tank. The number of guppies you can keep in one tank will depend on the size of the tank—a general guideline is 1 gallon of water for every 1 inch of fish. For example, because guppies average around 2 inches in length, a 10-gallon tank may only hold five guppies comfortably, while a 30-gallon tank may hold 15 guppies. Generally, it’s also best to have two or three females for every one male in the tank.
Guppy Habitat and Care
Guppies are great beginner fish. They are low maintenance and can tolerate some beginner mistakes. A bigger tank size is recommended since guppies are very active fish. They thrive in an aquarium with plants and soft décor items.
In order to keep your population from exploding, it is strongly recommended that you separate males and females in different tanks. Guppy females can store sperm for multiple spawns, even after separation from males, so once a female has been with a male, she may have multiple batches of babies. Tank dividers are okay as a temporary solution, but many of these flimsy, plastic dividers are usually not enough to keep fish separated. Two separate tanks will keep unwanted spawning to zero.
Heater
As a general rule, you need a heater to keep your guppies healthy. They prefer water temperatures in the 70s, and few homes are warm enough to provide that without an immersible heater in the tank. Monitor water temperature daily and adjust the heater as needed to keep your fish comfortable and healthy.
Filtration
Your aquarium definitely needs a filter to remove impurities and harmful chemicals from the tank water. Without a filter, aquarium water tends to quickly become filled with pollutants from uneaten food and fish waste, and your fish can become ill or even die from this harmful water. There are many types of aquarium filters available to suit any budget, so talk to the fish expert at your local aquarium shop or pet store if you are uncertain as to which filter is best for your tank.
Guppy Diet and Feeding
Guppies are omnivores and do well on a variety of commercially available feeds. Even though guppies are small in size, pelleted diets called micro pellets are the best choice since they hold onto their nutrition longer than flakes. You are welcome to add supplements, such as frozen fish foods, but no more than once or twice a week. The complete pelleted diet is best for most pet fish species.
Depending on your aquarium's temperature and the other tank inhabitants, you may feed your fish once or twice a day. Always start with a little bit of food, and when it has all been consumed, add a little more. Repeat for a few minutes and use this time to check all of your fish. Feeding time is a great time to see if any of your fish are acting odd or sick.
Gender Differences
There are a few gender differences you will need to identify to keep your male and female populations separate. Males tend to be smaller and more vibrantly colored. Females tend to have a brown coloration and are larger and rounder. Also, as male guppies grow, their body will develop coloration that does not occur on the female's body.
On the underside of the fish, the anal fin of the male is long and thin and tapers to a point. The anal fin on the female guppy is larger and triangular or fan in shape.
Guppies are sexually mature in about two to three months, and you should be able to identify the differences between genders by 1 month of age, if you wish to separate them. Female guppies first produce offspring at 10–20 weeks of age, and they continue to reproduce until 20–34 months of age.
Breeding the Guppy
Many beginner hobbyists will start with only one female guppy and suddenly have a swarm. Since female guppies can store sperm, it only takes one insemination by a male for a few spawns to be born. In order to prevent your aquarium from maxing out its stocking capacity, it is always best to separate male and female guppies.
Guppies are live-bearers, so the female will give birth to 10–50 wiggling fry per spawning. Many times, the newly born fry will be eaten by other fish in the aquarium, so if you want to save any fish, keep them in a separate tank or breeding box. Heavily planted aquariums will also give the babies places to hide and survive.
After breeding together many generations of the same population, you may notice an increased number of fish with congenital abnormalities, such as crooked spines or shortened lifespans.
Red Tuxedo Koi Guppies are a type of freshwater fish that are known for their striking coloration. Males are typically larger than females and have a deep red body with white stripes and patches. The females are slightly smaller than the males and have a muted red color with white patches. Both sexes have large, colorful tails that can be seen from a distance. Red Tuxedo Koi Guppies are easy to care for and make great additions to aquaria. They are peaceful, hardy fish that can help to keep your tank clean. The Redtail Yellow Phantom Tetra is a small, vibrant tropical fish that can reach up to 3 cm in size. This fish is primarily yellow with a white body and a red tail. It has a distinct black stripe that runs horizontally along its body. This fish is a peaceful and active species that can be kept in community aquariums. It prefers to be kept in groups of at least 6. They can be fed a variety of foods including flakes, pellets, and freeze-dried worms. The Redtail Yellow Phantom Tetra is an ideal fish for beginner aquarists.
Ribbon Tail Guppies have extended Anal fins and Caudal Fins
They are a nice addition to a guppy tank and they do come in a variable amount of colours.
The male guppies are fertile however due to the enlarged gonopodium it would make them infertile.

Riccia fluitans, whose common name is floating crystalwort, is an aquatic floating plant of the liverwort genus Riccia which is popular among aquarists as a retreat for young fry and is used in live-bearing tanks.
It can be found floating in ponds, and often forms thick mats on and under the water surface. It normally grows quickly at the surface. When kept about two to three inches below an ordinary fluorescent bulb or in a pond exposed to full sunlight, it will form dense, bright green mats.
Any single branch or antler bud can reproduce into a large colony if the plant is kept in proper conditions. It normally floats, but can also be attached to underwater objects such as logs and rocks. It can be attached with plastic mesh.
Floating crystalwort is generally not compatible with duckweeds, as they cover the surface of the water quite rapidly, crowding the Riccia out. It is also easily overtaken by hair algae.

A very nice Tetra Species that is peaceful with other fish species
Distribution: Found in Guyana, Suriname and Brazil. The species is found in several river systems, including the Rio Essequibo, Rio Corantijn and Rio Suriname.

Temperature: 75-82°F (24-28°C)
pH: 5.5-7.5.
Although it will survive in slightly alkaline water, it tends to be more colourful when kept in acidic conditions.
Hardness: 1-12°H
Personal Notes: This species looks quite bland and quite boring if you put it in a white background. However, in a planted or black background you can really appreciate the rosiness of its body and it's white on the fins stands out quite nicely.
They do appreciate to be in groups of 3 and this is why we sell them at the groups of 3.
We have been keeping a small colony of them in with Rasbora Maculatus amongst other fish and we have discovered that they are quite peaceful.
However they do get a little nippy with Fancy Tailed Guppies and its best to avoid those with long flowing fins.
Rotala Blood Red is a variety of Rotala Rotundifolia (also known as Rotala Macrandra) that originates from southeastern China. The leaves are long and narrow, similar to those of Rotala H’ra. Rotala Blood Red is a more demanding type of Rotala and should be grown under high light and with injection of CO2. When grown under these ideal conditions, the leaves will get a striking red color. Iron supplements may help bring out red colors in plants.
Rotala Blood Red grows upright, making it ideal for use as a background or midground plant. The bright red color of Rotala Blood Red will catch the eye and bring life to an aquarium. Rotala Blood Red can be grown both submerged and emersed; however, a transition period will be needed if attempting this. To keep Rotala Blood Red from growing too large, trimming should be performed regularly. The trimmed portions can then be rooted and used for further propagation.

Rotala Blood Red is an aquatic plant that can be grown both submerged and emersed.
Do not make drastic changes in your aquarium's water parameters or you risk melting the plant.
CO2 injection and quality aquarium soil will help your plants thrive and display the best coloration.

Rotala-Japan-Medium is an aquatic plant with a unique leaf pattern and coloration. The plant features soft, light green foliage with deep green veins running through it. The leaves are oval shaped and grow from a long, thin stem. The plant grows to a maximum height of around 12 inches and prefers moderate lighting and plenty of nutrients. It is a great choice for aquariums and can be used as a background or midground plant.
The Latin name means "the plant with the round leaves''. But this only applies to the marsh variety, which has circular leaves.
Rotala rotundifolia from South-East Asia has long, thin leaves and 15-30 long stems, 2-3 cm wide including the leaves. Unlike other Rotala species it is relatively undemanding, although it needs good light to produce red leaves. It forms side shoots willingly, becoming compact and bushy. This also means that it is hard for light to reach the lower leaves, so the plant should be pruned frequently

Rotala sp. "H'ra," also known as "H'ra" or "H'ra Red," is a popular aquatic plant among aquarists, particularly those interested in planted tanks. H'ra is a relatively easy plant to grow and maintain, making it an excellent choice for beginners or those looking to add more color to their aquariums. Rotala sp. 'Colorata' is very probably a variant of the variable species Rotala rotundifolia. Often it is also labeled with the erroneous name "Rotala indica". In comparison with "standard" R. rotundifolia, this Rotala assumes an especially intensive light red to orange red colour, especially if it is under good light. The leaves are narrow lineal. The stems have an overhanging to horizontal growth habit and form dense bushes as they ramify readily, just like Rotala sp. "Green", which is always light green. Rotala sp. 'Colorata' is a good combination partner for it.

Saratoga are sometimes referred to as the Australian ArowanaThere are 2 species of Saratoga that are available in Australia, the Gulf Saratoga (Scleropages jardini) and the Queensland Saratoga (Scleropages leichardti). The Gulf Saratoga is bronze in colour and has a more curved dorsal profile than the Queensland, with the head sloping downwards. The Queensland Saratoga has a silver coloured body, and lacks pattern on its gill covers. Saratoga require a lot of open space in the aquarium and inhabit the upper layers of the tank. They are very flighty fish but will settle down as they mature and get accustomed to their surroundings. Ensure that you provide a secure tight fitting lid because Saratoga are likely to jump.Good filtration and adequate aquarium main- tenance (filter cleans and water changes) are essential as Saratoga are sensitive to water pollutants.
