Description Review

Anubias "nangi" is a hybrid of A. barteri var. nana and A. gilletii that was created in cultivation by Robert A. Gasser (1922-2002, former owner of "Quality Aquarium Plants" nursery, Florida). This plant has been in trade since 1986 im Handel, however, nowadays it is a little-known rarity. \nIt differs from similar varieties of A. barteri as well as from A. heterophylla by a wide-lanceolate acuminate leaf form. The leaves are slightly bullous, shiny and of a dark green colour.
