Spiky Marsh Snails is endemic to Queensland and Northern Territory in Australia.
They first came to the scene in 2018 and we brought it into our store at that time. Ever since then they have grown in popularity as an alternative type of snail.
These snails eat uneaten foods and munch on algae in your tank. They don’t do a good job compared to the Indo China Nerite Snails or Otos but they are definitely different.
However, please make sure you keep them in a plant free tank with minimal soil. The reason for this is because they will scrap through the substrate.
Definitely something different for your tanks
